It rained all day yesterday, but today the weather is bright and clear.
Today, we would like to share an installation review of our alkaline-dedicated 'Electronic Leak Point Sensor' leak detection solution, which is essential for hazardous chemical safety management.
This project site is a dye manufacturing plant located in Siheung, Gyeonggi-do. We recently installed a leak detection system at the customer’s Incheon plant, and they were satisfied with the product performance and installation quality, so they requested an additional installation at the Siheung plant.
Since dye plants often use strong caustic soda (alkali), we selected an 'Electronic Leak Point Sensor' type leak detector with excellent chemical resistance, instead of a general-purpose sensor.
The installed products are the maintenance-friendly separated leak detector model YHSP-SAR and the reliable leak alarm control receiver YH-100L.

These are the key products to be installed today.
The sensor is the separated electronic leak point sensor YHSP-SAR (for alkaline solutions), and the leak alarm control receiver for monitoring is YH-100L.

Yoohantech specialists are carrying out the work carefully in accordance with on-site requirements and standards.
Since this site is a non-Ex area, the sensor conduit line was routed safely using durable GW waterproof flexible conduit.

Since a drainage trench is installed on the indoor floor, we installed the leak detector beneath the trench, where liquid naturally flows in the event of a leak.
Areas such as around the sump pit, corners, and inside the trench are optimal points for point-type leak detectors, enabling fast and effective detection of chemical leaks.
Since the sensor is located inside the trench and is not easily visible during normal operation, we temporarily brought the leak detector out for a photo to show the installation status to the customer. You can see how closely the sensor fits to the floor to maximize detection performance.

Looking inside the receiver, we configured a combination of a 4-channel leak detection control module YHSM-04S-AR and a 1-channel YHSM-01S-AR for stable signal processing. A backup battery was also securely installed for emergency situations.
The receiver backup battery must keep the system operating for at least one hour even during a power outage, so it should be installed only after a thorough voltage and capacity check.
The installation was completed neatly and thoroughly, including the leak alarm control receiver.
