Today, we would like to share a real installation case showing Yoohantech’s leak detector specialists working on site with professionalism and commitment.

The site introduced today is a paper manufacturing plant located in Cheonan, Korea.

This facility produces paper products used in everyday life.

One of the key materials used in the paper manufacturing process is wet-strength resin.

**Wet-Strength Resin and the Need for a Leak Detection System**

Wet-strength resin is a polymer compound that improves the strength of paper and tissue products so they do not tear easily when wet. Common products such as toilet paper, kitchen towels, napkins, banknotes, and specialty packaging materials maintain their shape and strength in wet conditions thanks to this resin.

A leak detector system was installed to detect possible leaks of wet-strength resin.

System Configuration Overview (Wireless Communication Applied)

For leak detection of the target material, a YHSP-SA leak detector sensor and a YHSM-01S-A module were installed.

• 2nd Floor: Operators stay on site and monitor leaks directly through the YH-100L receiver.

• 3rd Floor (Unmanned Area): Alarm signals from the on-site receiver (YH-100L) are wirelessly transmitted to the office through the YH-RF300-TX transmitter.

• Remote Monitoring: Because of the long distance, the signal passes through a YH-RF300-REF repeater and is finally received by the YH-RF400L-RX wireless receiver in the office, enabling remote monitoring of the 3rd floor area.

Thorough Pre-Installation Inspection:
Every installation project begins with verifying that the correct products and materials have been delivered. Under the supervision of the project manager, all sensors and materials to be used in the project were carefully inspected to ensure complete readiness.

The working environment was extremely hot and demanding, as clearly shown in the photos.

The electronic point leak sensor YHSP-SA for organic solvents was successfully installed in areas where wet-strength resin leakage could occur.

Central Monitoring System: Stable Integrated Leak Detection Receiver

The receiver that centrally manages all sensor signals is the core device, or the “heart,” of the entire leak detection system. At this site, receivers were installed on both the 3rd and 2nd floors, and the wireless system was linked so that alarms from the 2nd floor could also be recognized immediately in the office. As a result, when a leak alarm occurs on the 2nd floor, the same alarm is immediately activated in the office, enabling rapid recognition and response.

Backup Power for Uninterrupted Monitoring

All Yoohantech receivers are equipped with a backup battery as a standard feature. This ensures that even during a sudden power outage, the system continues to operate normally for at least one hour without any monitoring gap, helping protect the customer’s facilities and assets under all conditions.
