[Performance Verification] Gasoline Leak Detected in 1 Second! YHSM-A01 Organic Solvent Leak Detector Test
This video is a real performance test of the YHSM-A01 leak detector for organic solvents developed by Yoohantech. The key feature of this sensor is its ability to ignore water such as rainwater or condensation, while responding immediately only to specific organic solvents such as gasoline, providing precise leak detection without false alarms.
Test Setup (Integrated Sensor):
The test model is the YHSM-A01, an integrated leak detection sensor that can directly connect to alarm devices such as a warning beacon without a separate control panel.
DC 24V power was supplied to the sensor, and a red warning beacon was connected to activate when a leak detection signal was output, creating test conditions similar to an actual installation site.
Test 1: False Alarm Prevention Test (Water Response Verification)
First, to confirm that the sensor does not produce false alarms due to rainwater or moisture, the sensor was immersed in water for about 20 seconds.
Result: While the sensor was immersed in water, the warning beacon did not activate at all. This confirmed the sensor’s smart false alarm prevention capability, showing that it does not react to water.
After the test, the water was wiped off the sensor and the next step was prepared.
Test 2: Gasoline Leak Detection (Essential Test for Fuel Storage Areas)
Using a dropper, a small amount of gasoline was applied to the sensor detection area to simulate a fuel leak situation.
Result: As soon as the gasoline touched the sensor, the warning beacon activated immediately within 1 second, generating a clear leak alarm.
This video clearly demonstrates that the YHSM-A01 leak detector does not react to ordinary liquids such as water, helping reduce unnecessary false alarms in the field, while responding quickly and accurately to gasoline leaks. This makes it an effective safety solution for helping prevent fire and explosion risks in facilities handling fuel and organic solvents.
