Video Review 3-Line Summary of the Insulating Oil (PDP / High-Viscosity) Leak Detection Test

  • 🛢️ Test Model: Organic solvent and oil leak detection sensor YHSP-SA
  • ⏱️ Detection Time: Due to the high viscosity of the liquid, alarm activated after approximately 1 minute 25 seconds
  • 🎯 Detection Characteristic: Gradually increasing sensor data confirmed precise oil leak detection

Proven Leak Detection for High-Viscosity Insulating Oil with the YHSP-SA Sensor

This video demonstrates an insulating oil leak detection test using the YHSP-SA electronic point leak detection sensor by Yoohantech. Designed for oil leak detection and organic solvent leak monitoring, the sensor is tested with high-viscosity insulating oil used at the SDS Dongtan site to verify stable response performance under demanding industrial conditions.

High-Viscosity Oil Leak Detection: Gradual but Reliable Response

In this test, clear but high-viscosity insulating oil is applied to the separated YHSP-SA leak detection sensor. Because the liquid has strong viscosity, penetration into the sensing area takes more time than low-viscosity chemicals. For this reason, the leak detection test continues for about 2 minutes while the response trend is carefully monitored.

Although the green normal-status light remains on during the early stage, the LCD value of the leak detection sensor rises slowly and continuously. Even after 30 seconds, 50 seconds, and 1 minute, the sensor keeps tracking the oil condition with stable data progression. This is not a false response or error. It shows a controlled and reliable detection process for a difficult high-viscosity liquid.

Critical Moment: Leak Alarm Activated

At approximately 1 minute 25 seconds, the system reaches the alarm threshold. The green status light changes to a red warning light, and the audible leak alarm is activated. As explained in the video, the slower response time is caused by the high viscosity of the insulating oil, not by poor sensor performance. In other words, the test proves that the YHSP-SA leak detector can detect even slow-penetrating oil leaks with dependable accuracy.

Key Points: Reliable Insulating Oil Leak Detection Performance

  • Reliable Tracking Performance: Even when detection is not immediate, the sensor continuously tracks the leak condition and successfully detects high-viscosity insulating oil.

  • Gradual Data Increase: The sensor output rises slowly but clearly, demonstrating actual oil detection rather than unstable false alarm behavior.

  • Clear Alarm Notification: Once the preset threshold is reached, the system provides both visual and audible warning signals for clear operator awareness.

In conclusion, this video confirms that the YHSP-SA is a dependable industrial leak detection sensor for challenging liquids such as high-viscosity insulating oil. Rather than focusing only on fast response, this test highlights the sensor’s precision, stability, and real-world reliability in difficult oil leak detection conditions.
