✅ Thorough Pre-Inspection

Checking product condition before site deployment is the first basic step. From the moment the box is opened until the leak detector installation is completed, Yoohantech aims for zero defects.

Even in a harsh outdoor environment, Yoohantech’s experienced installation team works carefully to secure reliable safety. Along with installing precision leak detectors around the hydrochloric acid (HCl) tank, we also placed a receiver in a dedicated stainless steel enclosure right beside the tank so that site managers can immediately recognize and respond to emergency situations.

Safety was considered in every wire and connection. Since this area is classified as a non-explosion-proof zone, we used durable and flexible GW flexible conduit for a clean and safe finishing process.

🔬 Sensor Technology: YHSP-SAR (Electronic Leak Detection Point Sensor)

We installed the YHSP-SAR sensor at the points around the hydrochloric acid tank where leakage is most likely to occur. The reason this sensor is optimized for this site is clear.

• Target-responsive sensing: It does not react to water such as rainwater or condensation, and responds selectively only to acids, alkalis, and non-volatile organic solvents. That means no more “cry wolf” false alarms on rainy days.
• Fully waterproof design: Outdoor installation does not suffer failure from rainwater ingress.
• Easy maintenance: Its detachable structure makes installation and replacement convenient.

✅ Stainless Steel Enclosure & Leak Detector Receiver Installation for Outdoor Conditions

The biggest variable at this site was the fact that it was outdoors. The system is directly exposed to rain, wind, and sunlight.

• Stainless steel enclosure applied: We fabricated a corrosion-resistant stainless steel enclosure and mounted the receiver inside it.
• Improved on-site visibility: The receiver panel was placed near the tank so workers can immediately recognize any leak event.
• 105 dB high-output warning beacon: Considering the noisy power plant environment, we added a warning beacon that alerts danger through both visual light and a 105 dB audible siren.

✅ Core Technology: Internal Specifications of the Leak Detector Receiver (YH-200L)

Inside the receiver, the key precision-analysis modules YHSM-04S-AR and YHSM-01S-AR are installed. These modules do more than simple detection, filtering signal noise and supporting accurate situation analysis. In addition, a backup battery is built in so the system remains active even during emergency power interruptions that may occur at a power plant, maintaining continuous 24/7 monitoring.

🧪 On-Site Leak Detector Verification Test

The work does not end with installation. We proceed with testing based on real operating conditions.

• Step 1. Actual hydrochloric acid (HCl) response test: The sensor is immersed in an actual diluted hydrochloric acid solution. The receiver immediately activates a strong alarm, proving that the sensor accurately detects the target chemical.
• Step 2. Washing and reusability check: One of the strengths of the electronic YHSP-SAR sensor is reusability. After activation, the sensor can be washed with clean water and used again like new.
• Step 3. Water non-response test: After washing, we confirm that the alarm does not activate when the sensor remains wet or is immersed in water. As expected, it stays quiet. This proves in the field that the sensor does not respond to water.

After all tests are completed, we provide detailed training to the site safety manager on system operation, emergency response procedures, and sensor maintenance.
