Today, we’d like to introduce an installation site for an Explosion-Proof Acid & Alkali Electronic Leak Detection Point Sensor, designed to safely detect chemical leaks even in explosion-risk environments.

Even on rainy days, Yoohantech keeps moving for our customers’ safety as a professional team specializing in leak detector installation.

This site is a dye manufacturing plant located in Incheon, Korea, where we installed an acid & alkali electronic leak detection system.

Because dye manufacturing processes handle a variety of hazardous chemicals, a thorough leak management system is essential to prevent leakage incidents.

This customer has built long-term trust with us. They were satisfied with the performance and installation quality of the gas detector system we previously installed, and requested an additional installation of an acid & alkali leak detector for this project.

In particular, this installation location is designated as an Explosion Proof Area, so we selected the explosion-proof certified acid & alkali electronic leak detection point sensor 'YHSP-SAR-Ex' rather than a standard product.

To ensure intrinsic safety, we also added a Zener Barrier inside the leak detector alarm receiver, completing a robust explosion-proof system configuration.

These are our specialists installing the leak detector with strict compliance to explosion-proof requirements. We used durable steel conduit (Steel Pipe) instead of standard flexible conduit to maximize durability and safety.

This is the installed explosion-proof leak detector sensor.

Due to the characteristics of the explosion-hazardous area, we used high-strength steel conduit (Steel), and to block the travel of hazardous gas or flame, we completed the termination with a 'sealing fitting (Sealing Fitting)' to eliminate explosion risk at the source.

This is the installed leak alarm control receiver.

We completed the installation using the proven and reliable YH-200L model.

Since this system connects to an explosion-hazardous area, we installed an essential intrinsic-safety component, the 'Zener Barrier', inside the receiver as a must. The leak detection control module was configured with the acid & alkali dedicated 'YHSM-04S-AR' to enhance safety and reliability.

This was an installation and commissioning case of an Explosion-Proof Acid & Alkali Leak Detection System at the Incheon dye plant.
