💡 Incheon ICT-Based Leak Detection Safety Monitoring System Project

This project is part of the "ICT-Based Eco-Friendly & Safety Management Monitoring System" initiative led by the City of Incheon.

It is an advanced safety project designed for small and medium-sized plating companies in the Incheon area, where gas detectors and liquid leak detectors are installed, and the detected data is transmitted in real time to the Incheon central server for integrated monitoring and control.

As the final phase of this program, Yoohantech recently completed the installation of a liquid leak detection system at two specialized plating companies located in Incheon.

🧪 Key Risk in the Plating Process: Alkaline Leaks and the Need for Detection

In plating processes, alkaline substances are essential, but when leaked, they can pose serious risks to worker safety and the environment.

• Pretreatment (degreasing) process: Strong alkaline solutions are used to remove oil and contaminants from metal surfaces

• Wastewater treatment process: Alkaline agents are used to neutralize acidic wastewater and precipitate heavy metals

To monitor these risks in real time, Yoohantech installed alkaline-specific leak detectors at key points throughout the facility.

The core strength of this leak detection system is not just local alarming, but "data connectivity".

1. Alkaline-specific sensor: Sensors optimized for plating processes detect leaks immediately.

2. Server transmission receiver: The detected data is collected through our "Gas & Liquid Leak Alarm Server Transmission Receiver [YH-TS6000HP]".

This receiver transmits data in real time to the Incheon central management system via the internet communication network, and is designed to enable immediate coordination with related agencies such as the fire department in emergency situations.

Even in the narrow and complex environment of a plating plant, Yoohantech’s specialists worked with precision to build a reliable safety network without compromise.

Optimized for Alkaline Detection: Electronic Leak Point Sensor
Electronic leak detectors (point sensors) were installed at high-risk locations such as pipe connections carrying alkaline solution and areas around sump pits. These sensors are specially optimized for alkaline substances, enabling accurate detection with stable performance.

The Heart of Integrated Monitoring: Touchscreen Server Transmission Receiver "YH-TS6000HP"

The most critical leak detector receiver in this system was configured with the "Gas & Liquid Leak Alarm Server Transmission Receiver [YH-TS6000HP]".

This receiver plays a key role by transmitting on-site data in real time to the Incheon central server through the internet communication network.

• Touchscreen: Easy operation and real-time data visibility

• Server integration: Immediate alarm transmission to the central control center when a leak occurs

The receiver is equipped with a built-in backup battery, allowing the leak monitoring system to continue operating for at least one hour even during a power outage at the plant.

In addition, the intuitive touchscreen UI allows on-site managers to easily check and manage system status.

🚨 A Smart Connected System Designed for Public Safety

The core value of this leak detection system lies in "connectivity".

When a leak is detected on-site, an alarm is immediately transmitted to the Incheon central control center. After assessing the situation, the control center can quickly notify relevant emergency agencies such as the fire department, helping secure critical response time.
